​As a pediatric physical therapist, my passion in life is to help kids achieve their greatest potential by providing them with therapeutic and functional activities to help improve the quality of their everyday lives.  Such tasks, when presented within the context of meaningful play and engaging social interactions, help to motivate and facilitate independence in children as they explore their world and the “wonder” within it.  It is such movements, initially with just their eyes as infants, to fully developed walking, running, and jumping as young children, that forms the foundation for not only physical growth, but also plays a part in impacting a child’s cognitive, social-emotional, and speech/language development.
