Children learn as they play.

Most importantly, in play children learn how to learn.

~ O. Fred Donaldson

So why play?

Play is one of the most important things our children can do.  It’s how they first learn to interact and engage with the world and the people around them.

When they play, they grow.

Play provides a platform from which early skills are first established, followed by more complex abilities which are built upon those simple beginnings.  However sometimes our kids need a little help to get things started or even to “catch up” a bit if they’ve fallen behind and that's where we can help.

Play A Little offers skilled physical therapy to children from birth through their early-teens, while specializing in providing early intervention services for young children aged zero to three years old.  Sessions are provided in a child's home, school, or community-based setting (e.g. park), in a one-on-one format with a licensed physical therapist.

Initial diagnostic assessments are are also offered as needed.  Such evaluations, in conjunction with ongoing weekly therapy when applicable, are designed to provide a comprehensive and evidenced-based program to enable a child to develop to their fullest potential, while also providing their family with specific educational support tailored to address each child's unique developmental needs.

Consultative (non-direct) physical therapy services are also provided if necessary or for families wishing to discuss their child's situation prior to initiating a formal evaluation or weekly therapeutic services.
